April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th of July, began taking piano and guitar lessons from age seven. She was interested in songwriting was awakened. When she was 12 years old, April came up with her first original song Different. At the age of 14 April was a big devotee of her day singing and writing songs. Then she began to take trips to write with her father, who lived in NY as well as LA. April began to include additional relevant subjects into the song, which she called the Take my Hand song for some close friends, like peer pressure problems and suicides among teenagers. Lockhart is a partner at popular cosmetics brand Ilia as well as a lifestyle influencer who has a growing fan base. Her birthplace didn't come with a left-hand, which is what makes her the person she is. However, that's not the full story. The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my life. All is well and I've learned how to adapt. Because it's my identity, it's something that's worthy of discussion. Lockhart has been a great source of inspiration for her female friends with regards to acceptance of oneself. She admits that she's been through periods of being uncomfortable with her body, at times, not being confident in wearing certain types of clothing that showed the arms of her. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook in awe. For her, self-love is an extended process. This is, however, typical for people who has insecurities. People you associate yourself with who truly know you and see through your eyes are the ones you should be relying on to help you remember what you're worried about.
